In 2008 and 2009 I took part in the Capture Rochester photography event. Actually calling it an event isn’t entirely accurate. The Rochester D&C set up a website where local photographers could upload images into specific categories that were showcased on the site. Users could then vote on these photographs by simply clicking a “like” or “dislike” button. The images with the most popular votes were then published in the books once voting ended. I was fortunate enough to have had (2) of my images published in these books. Both images were printed as full page spreads.<\/p>\n

Capture Rochester and ROCViews Books<\/p><\/div>\n

In 2012 one of my photos was selected to be displayed across the top of the local section of the Rochester D&C. This shot was of the Rhinos soccer game at Sahlen’s Stadium. Then in 2013, a book was published called ROCViews which pulled together the most popular panoramas that were used in the D&C from the previous year. My photograph made it into the book.<\/p>\n
